Number of rooms

The number of rooms is the number of rooms in a dwelling. Kitchen is not counted as a room. Dwellings with at least three rooms belong to the category 3h+.

Lower quartile

25 % of observations ordered by size remain below the value in question.

Median

The median is a widely used mean value that indicates the middle value of the distribution when the observations are arranged in size order. If there is an even number of observations, the two middle values are selected and their mean is used.

Upper quartile

75 % of observations ordered by size remain below the value in question.
